Kimio Bazett

Director

Kimio joined the team in 2021.

Kimio brings 10+ years of community involvement experience and a unique perspective of being a small business owner, restauranteur, multiple-time lessee, SBA borrower, and a personal guarantor.

Hobby: Bike racing.

En route to the eventual win at Leesville Gap Road Race, July 2021. Kimio finds that training and racing bikes helps to inform his perseverance in the commercial real estate world.

Traveling with family.

With his fiancé, Alina on a sunset cruise in Turks and Caicos, December 2021. Travel definitely gives them a global perspective and helps them reset.

Man's Best Friend.

Eli is their blind/deaf Shih Tzu. Kimio rescued Eli from Front Street Shelter about 5 years ago and can honestly say he has changed his life.

Teamwork.

Teamwork, comraderie, and the exchange of critical information is what separates TCRE from our competitors. No one knows finance better than John McCallum (pictured).

Integrity

Operating with the highest level of integrity and character at all times

After nearly twenty years dedicated entirely to the restaurant business, I decided I needed a change, and a new challenge.

Like so many others, the Pandemic caused me to reevaluate the direction of my professional life, though not in the way that one might expect. I realized that my passions for customer/client service, relationship building, mentorship, and the community around me were stronger than ever. What I never imagined was that during unimaginable hardship, I was able to lead my businesses from survival, to sustainability, and ultimately see them grow and thrive.

I hope to infuse every client relationship with the same level of service, strength, communication, and perseverance that have carried me to this point. I pride myself on operating with the highest level of integrity and character at all times.

Within the Turton Team, I carry the unique perspective of a small business owner, restauranteur, and multiple-time lessee, SBA borrower, and a personal guarantor. I can expertly counsel clients on the start-to-finish process of opening a business and create value by helping them to avoid the pitfalls that result in lost time and money.

My community involvement includes 10+ years on the Midtown Association Board of Directors + Executive Committee + Midtown Central Chair, Region Restaurants Board, Responsible Hospitality Institute – Sacramento Delegation, and CASA External Relations Committee.

I live in Downtown Sacramento with my fiancé, Alina, and our dog, Eli. In my free time I enjoy riding and racing bicycles of all types, traveling, cooking, dining out, and growing friendships, both old and new.
